metalstack.cloud v0.3.0

Today the brand new metalstack.cloud version 0.3.0 has landed. This release is based around the two new login providers. In addition to GitHub, we now support logging in using Google and Microsoft Azure!

In contrast to GitHub logins, for Google and Microsoft Azure we do not import existing organization and role structures anymore, which effectively reduces the amount permissions that we request from your Login provider. And here joins the second big feature. It is now possible to invite users with a specifc role into your projects, simply by generating an invitation link. This way it is now possible to collaborate with people from different organizations and across different OAuth providers.

On the Kubernetes side, a new premium-encrypted storage class has been introduced. It allows volumes to be encrypted by a secret provided by the user.

Smaller notable changes include reducing the size for API tokens, a new onboarding banner to support new users, a simplified admission process and some bug fixes across our ecosystem. Make sure to update your metal cli. Thank you for your continued support, and we look forward to delivering more exciting features in future releases!
